ABOUT

Merlet XO cognac is the classic in excellence for lovers of old eaux-de-vie, round, warm and delicately elegant. This blend produced by Gilles and his two sons, Pierre and Luc, is made up of different vintages of the appellation, thus offering a rich, fruity aromatic palette, showcasing the signature style of Merlet.

METHOD

Very old cognacs (at least 10 years old) all distilled in their stills and aged in the Merlet family cellars.

TASTE & AROMA

The nose is rich and complex, it offers a wide aromatic range of orange peel, vanilla notes, through white flowers. On the palette, the attack is frank and then gives way to a round and ample mouth, finely wooded. The fruity notes are clean and persistent.
